Intravenous sedation is the deepest sedation technique we use, great for everyone but especially good for extremely nervous people.
Once sedated, patients are usually totally unaware of the dentistry going on, a long appointment can feel very short indeed and the patient is left with only pleasant memories.
Its the closest thing we have to a General ANaesthetic, you are not asleep but you are right on the edge of sleep in a very relaxed and comfortable state.
A standard hour's session costs on average £375 and this includes the treatment we can do in the session, apart from laboratory fees. In a hour we can normally remove a few teeth, do a full mouth gum disinfection or do a couple of fillings.Dr Rob Endicott, Dentist
